For nearly 50 years, children have grown up watching Big Bird, Elmo and Cookie Monster, learning numbers, colors, and letters, and gaining important life lessons in compassion and friendship. But Sesame Street is more than a television show. Using the power of media and their beloved characters, Sesame Workshop helps children here in the US and around the world with critical early education. With initiatives for children affected by autism, trauma, the Refugee crisis, and so much more, we reach little learners at the earliest time in their development, setting them on a positive path for life.
